Get everything ready the night before
I watch for the uniform coming into Lidl or Aldi as it saves a fortune
Label absolutely everything. Their teachers will thank you!
Make sure everything is labelled so it can be found when it gets lost
Recycle uniforms amongst friends
Definitely label clothes then if things do go missing they can be returned
I haven’t even got any uniform yet – I am so disorganised this year! I label everything and get the childrens names embroided into the school jumpers ? cardigans
I lable everything! At least there’s a chance of getting things back
Have enough white shirts for the week so you can just do one big white load on a Saturday rather than panicking about getting things washed and dried through the week x
P.s all the comp links apart from the first couple are coming up as Invalid for me lovely x
Use a whiteboard at home for school events, homework, p.e days, this way the kids can see it to and take some responsibility too
About 3 or 4 days before start getting the kids up at the time you usually would for school. I know it’s their last few days of the summer holiday, but it will be less of a shock for them come Monday morning.
Save little by little for an academic year start during the year
Wait till just before to buy shoes to get the fit best
Write a list of what’s needed at the start of the holidays and tick off as purchased as and when
Look out for good deals on multipacks of glue sticks. It’s the one thing I find gets used up faster than anything else over the year!
Try and prepare as much at the start of the holidays so it’s not a panic at the end
get up earlier for the last week of the holiday and then the body will start to get use to getting up at that time for school.
Everything labelled for my grandchildren, they love school so not much planninig
Try and get back into a routine a week before school restarts. Early nights and early mornings will help get them back into a normal routine
I always make sure that my clothes and my childrens uniforms are ready the night before. Less stress and more quality time in the morning.
If you celebrate the first day of school, your kids will see back-to-school as a transition they can really enjoy. Try a back-to-school party the day before school starts, complete with cake, balloons and educational gifts.
Label everything!!
enjoy the last of the precious time before going back to school xx
preparation is key do as much as you can ahead of time
Make a list of things to do and tick them off one by one
Make a list of things you will need
Have a designated area for all school stuff including uniform and have it sorted by day so it’s easy to grab.
Label everything – I use ‘mynametags’
Get everything ready the night before.
make sure everything is ready weeks in advance so that you can enjoy the school holidays
label everything and get everything laid out/ready the night before
Make sure everything is named.
Get everything ready the week before, there will always be something you have forgotten so being ready means that on the day you will have time to search for the things you forgot!
Spread out buying new items over the summer break.
Write a list – I have 3 to buy for, so it’s the only way I don’t miss anything out.
You can be guaranteed your child will misplace an item of clothing…label, label, label!!!
Always prepare the night before
