Weigh, Lose or Stay
Week Thirteen
A better week, after not losing anything off my measurements last week, I have lost 7cm this week, including 3cm off my waist – hurrah! So I’m really pleased with that.
In terms of weight loss, I have lost 2.5lbs this week or 1.13kg, putting me so, so close to that two stone now.
The big change for me this week was exercise. I did two workouts this week – very cardio focused and I really felt it afterwards, but I am so pleased that I did. Honestly, if you have no money for the gym and find it hard to get out with small children I do highly recommend fitness videos on Youtube.
This week my mission is to do 3 workouts and weekly set myself the aim of 3 workouts, but a minimum of 2 if I’m busy with work or the children.
And finally, but really importantly I can now wear my wedding rings on my wedding finger which has made me feel fantastic! It’s a bit too tight to fit my eternity ring on there with them, so that shall be my next non scale goal – to get all three rings on my finger.

- My wedding rings now fit which is amazing, but I cannot take them up with my eternity ring. So my next goal is to get all 3 rings on my wedding finger. Watch this space!

Great results Laura, well done.
Thank you x
Congrats on the workouts! I bet you feel good for it? i’m not doing too bad but really could improve, although not in the exercise area as i’ve been sick and dizzy all week!..but food wise… need to be a bit smarter! Angela xx
I do feel better for it thanks Angela. It’s amazing how even a small loss can make you feel better. Well done on your journey too x
Really well done Laura, especially the workouts as it is doubly hard when you have two small children and have been up half the night because one is teething. The hard work really paid off, especially on your measurements,
I was amazed tohavelosta pound and a half this week! Not being able to do much exercise this week I was hoping to stay the same. The loss is a real bonus for me as Ihave lost three and a half pounds in the last two weeks. Now Iam scared to eat anything in case I put any back on. I am hoping to start walk/jogging again by the end of the week so hoping to keep the weight coming off. Two more pounds wil make two and a half stone
Well done on your 1.5lbs as I know how much you struggle to lose so that’s a great result! Let’s hope you can make that 2.5 stone in the next couple of weeks 🙂
Ooh congrats on making more progress. I really need to start losing this baby weight so maybe you’ll be my motivation 🙂
Thanks Julie – baby weight does like to stick around doesn’t it frustratingly. But I think you can only do it when you’re mentally ready. Good luck x
